Location is excellent. La Sagrada Familia just a couple of blocks from hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Purchased breakfast with room. Although it was good, there are so many places close to hotel with wonderful pastries. Would probably not purchase breakfast.

Great location, on a quiet side street, one block from La Sagrada Familia but also walking distance (20 minutes or less) to La Pedrera, Casa Bátalo, Estación de Nord. The hotel is very clean, safe, quiet and the beds were very comfortable (firm memory foam). We got the rate that included breakfast, which I highly recommend. This is a full breakfast - eggs, meats, cheese, fruit. The hotel staff was also helpful and accommodating. We felt Boutique Hostemplo was very good value.

We arrived at the Hotel and reception staff were lovely . Our room on the first floor was nice and reasonably spacious and had kettle , TV etc in the room . The view from the balcony was just onto the quiet small street below . Beds were very comfortable I found and we slept well . When we woke in the Morning the smell of drains in the bathroom was much stronger than the night before and we didn’t feel happy with this room . I spoke to reception who immediately sent up maintenance who put something down the drain after checking everything. However we didn’t feel confident in coming back to the room so asked to swap to another room and reception were accommodating and showed us and moved us to a room in the second floor which seemed absolutely fine . This room was next to the lift and a little smaller but was still very quiet and we slept well . Breakfast was nice - freshly squeezed orange juice , scrambled eggs bacon , lots of meats and cheeses , freshly warmed croissants and pastries , cakes and bread . Also fruit , tea and coffee . We booked direct so it was included in the price . If you are happy with just a room or a room and then breakfast , then this is an ideal base. It is round the corner from the Sagrada Familia and the lovely park in front of if it . We didn’t take buses but the bus stops were nearby . We found the Metro to be easy and the station is right next to the Sagrada (6 mins walk ) Also tourist shops around the Sagrada open until late . Lovely family churro shop on the corner . 20 minutes walk to the Casa Batile on the passing de Gracia . Would Definately go back .

Everything about the hotel was nice. The room was well appointed and we particularly enjoyed the patio, which the sun shone on from about 3pm to about 5pm. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good, with lots of choice, though not sure why the scrambled egg had sugar in it. Staff friendly and helpful. Literally around the corner from the Sagrada Familia which was the focus of our trip, and which we saw many many times

The hotel was really quiet good for relaxing after walking and visiting places in barcelona.Nice staff, very good breakfast with fresh orange juice and Nespresso coffe. The location is excellent: very close to Sagrada Familia and lots ofvrestaurants nearby.
